Nepheline Syenite, a light
gray colored feldspathic rock, is widely used as a feldspar supplement in the
manufacturing of ceramic tile, industrial ceramic components, sanitary ware, and
colored glass. Other applications include paint coatings, bricks, chemical
extenders, rubber fillers, foundry sand, and the medium for abrasive blasting,
i.e., sand blasting.
Mining from established deposits in central Arkansas provides Mineral Development a consistently high quality supply of this versatile mineral. The Mineral Development plant in Little Rock, Arkansas has the ability to supply nepheline syenite in our standard 30 Mesh and 200 Mesh or classified to micron sizes based on customer needs. Packaging is available to customer specification ranging from 50-pound bags to one-ton supersacks or bulk by truck, rail, and barge. Custom grinding and blending is also available. |
